Dr. Muhammad Sharif is a distinguished leader in science and technology with a global reach. Currently, he serves as Advisor Science and Technology at ICESCO, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, based in Rabat, Morocco.
Previously, Dr. Sharif held an esteemed position as Assistant Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia. His academic journey began with his graduation from the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT) and the Institute of Organic Chemistry at the University of Rostock, Germany.
Dr. Sharif’s career reflects a unique blend of academic excellence and entrepreneurial spirit. He brings extensive experience in materials synthesis and catalytic process development, having held research positions in both academic and industrial settings. His entrepreneurial pursuits demonstrate a passion for technology development and commercialization across various sectors, including upstream and downstream petrochemicals, and construction chemicals.
Beyond academia, Dr. Sharif is a prolific speaker, delivering over 200 public talks, seminars, and motivational presentations worldwide. His influence extends further as an Associated Professor at the Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, Germany, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Lahore, Pakistan.
